Connecting Members of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation
Bigfoot Communications is a social purpose tribal enterprise created to connect members of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation to each other and the world via advanced network technologies. Bigfoot owns and operates network infrastructure on behalf of the Tribes. Tribal administration, education, and health services and other tribal enterprises are key stakeholders and customers.
The plan is for Bigfoot to lead with retail broadband and manage network services for the Colville Tribal Government and its units. Bigfoot will also provide “wholesale” transport and other network services to retail broadband providers and major enterprises. Bigfoot will develop a retail broadband division focused on serving members of the Tribes at deeply discounted rates.

As a tribal enterprise, Bigfoot focuses on members of the Tribes and areas within the Colville Reservation, but its scope covers the Tribes’ entire original territory. Via Bigfoot, the Tribes invest in infrastructure throughout the region to fulfill its purpose. Bigfoot partners with a broad range of stakeholders to improve access for everyone while creating development, employment, and leadership opportunities for members of the Tribes.
